Sunny Sunday in NC

It has been a beautiful day in NC - in the 60's. A big change from yesterday when it was rainy and nasty. Could not stay outside enough today and our wonder dogs loved every minute. All of the neighbors were also out to get their dose of Vitamin D! The Mister and I made our weekly trek to Target and now we are ready to watch the Oscars - I feel like Argo will be a winner! Thoughts??

Last week I headed to Raleigh to get my hair cut. Great day with some shopping. I picked up a few jewelry pieces at the Salon. It never fails, I can never never get out with just the cost of a hair cut and color. Check them out below - Towne & Reese and the bracelet is ZENZII. I have already worn the bracelet several times and each time have gotten compliments. Next time I will be sure to pick up another one in black. I cannot wait to to wear the earrings and the necklace will definitely be worn to work this week. Who else has trouble saying "No" when there are so many cute choices???? 

 

 I hope to be back before next weekend - who knows what this week will bring....lots of work commitments for sure and can't miss The Bachelor tomorrow night - looking forward to seeing Thailand. Spending some quality time with my love is definitely on the books for this week - Wishing all of you a wonderful week with lots of happiness.

The Beginning

Random thoughts for today - Starting a blog in 2013 was an item on my bucket list. I have enjoyed reading "stalking" other blogs for several months. Please take this journey with me as I learn and share a little bit about the joys of life.

A little bit about me: I love God, my family, people, animals (dogs), and my home. I work full time, and like to clean and cook when I have plenty of time. I also love to explore new places, travel, eat out (a lot) and of course shop!

I am married to a wonderful man who was my high school sweetheart. We have two sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law. We currently live in North Carolina with our two dogs.

Thanks for beginning this journey with me. My hope is for a long and wonderful ride.
